Best Flat Iron Under $40
By Yoovle
In the previous article I have been writing about the best flat iron under $50 and I decided to write a chain of hubs on the topic of best flat irons and different prices.
As you might find out from the title of this article, today I'm going to mention a couple of flat irons that are inside of this price tag of $40 but still are said to be one of the best flat irons out there on the market. I've just realized that you also have to take into account the time you're reading this article, which is the end of October 2010. If you were reading this like year ahead, the chances are that there are even much better flat iron straighteners on the market and probably for a similar price.
So lets' get into it, I'm going to mention two ceramic flat irons that I found most positive opinions about on forums and other places on the internet. I always try to read a lot of opinions and experiences because it is the only way how you can determine, which hair iron is worth it to buy.
Remington S-9400
According to a lot of people, Remington S-9400 seems to be a very good choice. It's designed to prevent knots and split ends and is made of tourmaline, titanium, and ceramic materials which are of course the best you could ever wish. They're know to be very safe for your hair leaving it nice and strong.
The temperature has a nice digital control display and you can lock it at any temperature you like or find out to be most suitable for your needs. I really like this feature and it would definitely be one of those I'd want to have in my hair iron, if I was a girl. I think that it's very practical.
It also supports auto-shutoff just in case you'd forget to turn it off and burn out your house or at least the iron :). Nothing like that can happen as it turns off after 1 hour.
User experiences and features they like the most:
- heats up very fast - everyone seems to like this
- lock to close it for safety
- a lot of women mention that it's the best one they have ever used, even better than the hair irons that are four times more expensive.
- The preferred temperature is 360 degrees
- lasts all day long
- a lot of temperature settings
Negatives:
- a little gap between the plates
If this one sounds good to you and you are interested, Remington S-9400 costs something around $30.
Helen of Troy Salon Pro 1
Helen of Troy flat iron is available for only $25 and really does it's job according to a lot of experiences found on the internet. They say that although it's not one of the best irons for curling, it's definitely better than a lot of much much more expensive flat ironing devices.
One girl even said that if she should compare the Chi flat iron (which costs over hundred dollars) and this one, she'd say that Helen of Troy has made a much better impression on her.
So that's it, I hope you liked my short review and wish you a great day!
