Welcome to my new hub. Today I'm gonna tell you something about the best restaurants in NC to give you some tips for launch or a nice dinner with family or friends. If you live in NC (North Carolina) or you are just a visitor, I believe that you will find this guide useful for you as well. I'm going to rank it from the number 1 being the best one towards the lower rated restaurants.

Ideal for casual dining in downtown Blowing Rock. Distinctive American & Italian non-smoking cuisine and they serve lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday. It's open all year round.

Some brief points

- excellent Monte cristo which is a fried club sandwich
- well prepared portions and fast service
- recommended foods:  Chicken al vino, Pasta Inferno, fried chicken
- very cozy and comfortable atmosphere
- friendly staff and affordable prices
- very stable restaurant - you'll always get what you expect to get every day in a year
- although it's quite small and parking is not the best, it's definitely worth it
- one of the best lunch menus in the Southeastern United States
- huge food, wine and beer selection
- you can often meet there it's owners Bernie and Joan

Brief points:

- People say they have the best hot dog they've ever eaten. You can get it with a chili sauce either mild or spicy.
- Other great foods are: the pepperoni roll with italian peppers, Spicy Spaghetti, cheese and chili, great cheese straws and buns, which are always steamed and loaded with lots of chili. Also check out the 5 bean chili soup or the toasted meatball hoagie. For a desert you can get their perfect hand rolled cinnamon buns.
- everyone says they have the best chili they've ever had.
- characteristic great aroma inside the restaurant
- all the meals on the menu are top notch and cooked in house
- great fresh brewed ice tea

It's simply a great and very stable place, which, you just have to visit when you are in Rowan County.

Brief points:

- the barbecue is Eastern Caroline style - different from Western Carolina
- finely chopped pork seasoned with a spicy vinegar sauce.
- they have their own yellow slaw, which consists of probably mustard, and has a hint of horseradish tang and heat.
- perfectly cooked french fries - always fresh
- best hush puppies in town
- great prices - if you take the family style dinner you'll get AYCE of pork, fried chicken, Brunswick stew, boiled potatoes, slaw, French fries, hush puppies, and corn sticks, which is a lot of food for just $8.60 per one person.
- Iced tea comes in a pitcher so you'll definitely have enough.
- some customers say they have the best BBQ they've ever had.

Brief points:

- fantastic appetizers, calamari, buffalo shrimp, fresh fishes, crab cake and steak sandwich
- fresh and creative sauces
- delicious coconut cream pie, or Oreo pie as a dessert
- the place is quite small - maybe 10 at the bar and 20 at the tables.
- moderate prices, which are very fair for the amounts of food you get.
- very creative menu - you can get for example something like Mahi Mahi BLT - what is it? Well, you have to go and try out.
- great staff and friendly atmosphere
