Clarins vs Clinique - Getting Rid Of Stretch Marks

By

Clarins and Clinique are one of those very popular skin care brands that you can find in stores all around the world. The pure fact that their names are so popular may suggest that people are satisfied with their products and that they are buying them.

In this article, I am going to talk about one precise skin problem that bothers a huge percentage people. The problem is called striae, or stretch marks and I am actually almost sure that most of you have already found some, at least little stretch marks on your body as well.

While a lot of people don't really care about them, especially the tougher halves - men, some can sometimes go crazy realizing how hard it is actually to simply erase them from the skin. Some people think it is impossible without using more aggressive methods like surgery, or lasers, but there are a lot of people that can prove them wrong. What can we expect from Clarins vs Clinique?

Clarins Stretch Mark Control

Clarins Stretch Mark Control is the full name of the anti-stretch mark cream by Clarins, and you can find this product in many shops all around the world. The most active ingredients that are inside to help you solve your problem are the following:

  • Centella Extract is a plant well known in Asian medicine and is used to revitalize elastic and collagen fibers in your skin.
  • Crowberry soothes your skin, moisturizes, and regenerates at the same time.
  • Siegesbeckia was added to lighten your stretch marks and make them blend more with your skin.
  • Further you can find here also: Isononyl Isononanoate-Alcohol, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Glycerin, Methylsilanol Mannuronate, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Siegesbeckia Orientalis Extract, and a lot lot more.

From what I read on the internet, a lot of women reported experiences like that it helped them to stay away from stretch marks when being pregnant, and that it can deal with mainly the smaller and less visible ones.

Clinique CX

Clinique CX is the name of stretch mark removal cream by Clinique. It has been already used over a couple of years and found a gained a lot of its fans in the whole world. Like the Clarins Stretch Mark Control, this solution works also best as an actual prevention against new stretch marks, thanks to the formula that stimulates skin own collagen production.

It means that when you know that you are about to increase in volume in some parts of your body like breasts, belly, arms, etc. you would rub Clinique CX exactly on these places 3 times a day, and have a great chance to actually avoid creating any stretch marks at all. The main ingredients that are responsible for these effects are hydrolyed collagen, palmitoyl oligopeptide and acetyl hexampeptide-2.

If I should sum things up and tell you which one would win in the Clarins vs Clinique fight, I would say that they both can produce similar effects if applied regularly. Both are designed especially to prevent stretch marks and reduce the visibility of the newer ones. Anyway, I would either try both of them, or go with the Clarins Stretch Mark Control - that's just my personal opinion.
